Verify Setup with Realtime Event Monitor
If you're looking to verify your setup and make sure events are firing correctly, its now incredibly simple - just click on the "Test Setup" button in the top right corner of your dashboard and it will load the Realtime Event Monitor on your website.
How Does it Work?
The Realtime Event Monitor is a widget that only you can see on your website. You can click on any element that you've setup events to be triggered on and see the events being triggered in realtime along with any metadata that has been collected.
Only you can see the widget
It will only show you events being triggered by you - not other visitors
For example, if you've setup tracking on a form but you're not sure if its working properly, simply load the Realtime Event Monitor, interact with your form and you'll see the event being triggered along with all of the data collected from the form
