Webflow Setup

How to setup PixelFlow on Webflow

  1. Install the PixelFlow Webflow App

  • Click on "Install App", choose which site or directory to install into and press "Authorise App"

  • Open your Webflow dashboard, hover over the site you want to use PixelFlow on and click on "Open in Webflow"

  1. Open the App in Your Webflow Site

  • In the left hand sidebar, ensure you're in "Design Mode"

  • In the left hand sidebar, click on the Apps icon, select PixelFlow, and press "Launch App"

  1. Login to the Webflow App

  • In your PixelFlow dashboard, click on "Profile Settings" in the top right hand corner

  • Click "Generate API Key" and copy the key

  • Add the API key to the empty "Connection Code" in Webflow and press "Login"

  1. Add Your Site

  • Enter your domain name (starting with https://)

  • Choose your currency from the dropdown

  1. Connect Your Pixel

By default, we will load both your Facebook Pixel and Facebook CAPI at the same time to ensure events are correctly deduplicated.

  • Add your Pixel Name (can be any name)

  • Add your Pixel ID - click here for instructions on where to find your Pixel ID

  • Add your Meta Pixel Access Token “Meta Pixel Access Token” - click here for instructions on where to find your Meta Pixel Access Token

  1. Copy Your Code and Add it Your Website

Once you've clicked on "Add URL", you will see a popup showing you to "Update Your Code". You need to add the code to your website by following these steps:

  1. Click on the Copy icon in the popup window

  1. Go to your Webflow dashboard, click "All Sites" hover over your website and click on the Settings (cog) icon.

  1. Scroll down to "Custom Code" and click on it

  1. Paste your code in Head code and Press the "Save" button

  1. Publish Your Webflow Website

Its important to publish your website so the code is saved and to re-publish your Webflow website after making any changes in your PixelFlow app to ensure the changes are reflected on your live website.

Click the "Publish" button in Webflow in the top right hand corner and select your "production" domain and the setup will be completed.

After you have completed the initial setup, you will be tracking only Page View events on your website. To add further tracking please read this article.
