Remove the TikTok Pixel from Framer

Remove the TikTok Pixel from Framer by deleting the native integration or the custom code block you added. PixelFlow already loads the TikTok Pixel and the Events API together, so a second, separately installed TikTok Pixel sends duplicate events (see How to Connect Your TikTok Pixel & Conversions API). Keep PixelFlow installed and leave the Pixel itself in TikTok Events Manager: PixelFlow still uses that Pixel. You are only removing the extra copy from your website.

Remove a native TikTok Pixel integration

1. In Framer, open your site project.

2. Check Site Settings for any connected TikTok Pixel or marketing integration.

3. Remove the Pixel Code or disconnect the TikTok Pixel.

4. Save the changes.

Remove custom code

1. In Framer, open the top menu and select Site Settings.

2. Open Custom Code.

3. Find the code block that contains the TikTok Pixel code. Search for ttq, TiktokAnalyticsObject, ttq.load, ttq.page, ttq.track, or analytics.tiktok.com; the official TikTok base code loads its script from https://analytics.tiktok.com/i18n/pixel/events.js.

4. Delete the code block.

5. Save.

Publish your site

1. Click Publish in Framer.

2. Click Update to deploy the changes.

Turn off automatic event tracking in TikTok

TikTok can recommend and add automatic standard events through a setting called Auto event setup. If your pixel has it available, go to TikTok Ads Manager > Tools > Events > Manage Web Events, select the pixel, open Settings, and turn off Auto event setup. TikTok offers this setting in beta to a limited number of advertisers and is phasing it out, so you may not see it.

Verify the pixel is gone

1. Install the TikTok Pixel Helper browser extension.

2. Visit your live site in an incognito window.

3. Confirm no TikTok pixel events fire on the page.
