Remove the TikTok Pixel from Other Platforms
On any platform, the TikTok Pixel is usually installed in one of a few common places. Check each location and delete the TikTok Pixel code to stop duplicate tracking.
Search your site code for ttq, TiktokAnalyticsObject, ttq.load, ttq.page, ttq.track, ttq.identify, or analytics.tiktok.com. The official TikTok base code loads its script from https://analytics.tiktok.com/i18n/pixel/events.js with your Pixel ID and lib=ttq in the URL. Any match points to a copy of the pixel you can delete.
Do not delete the pixel inside TikTok Events Manager. PixelFlow still uses that pixel. You are only removing a second copy of the code from your website.
Check header or footer code injection
Most platforms offer a Custom Code, Header Scripts, or Code Injection area in site settings. Open that panel and delete any TikTok Pixel script.
Check native integrations
Look for a built-in TikTok Pixel, TikTok ads, or Marketing integration in your platform's settings. Remove the Pixel Code or disconnect the TikTok Pixel. Leave PixelFlow installed.
Check plugins or apps
If you installed a TikTok, pixel, or ads plugin or app that injects ttq, open its settings and disable the pixel feature, or uninstall the plugin entirely. Do not uninstall the PixelFlow plugin.
Check Google Tag Manager
If your site uses Google Tag Manager, open your GTM container and pause or delete the TikTok Pixel tag and any TikTok Events tags. Keep the PixelFlow snippet, or the PixelFlow GTM setup you already use.
Check page-level embeds
Landing-page builders sometimes add a pixel on one page only. Check those pages for TikTok Pixel code too, not just your global site settings.
Turn off automatic event tracking in TikTok
If your pixel uses TikTok's Auto event setup, turn it off so TikTok stops tracking events without your pixel code.
Open TikTok Ads Manager and go to Tools > Events.
Open Manage Web Events and select your pixel.
Open Settings and turn off Auto event setup.
Auto event setup is a beta feature TikTok offers only to a limited number of advertisers, so it may not appear in your pixel's settings. TikTok is phasing it out.
Verify the pixel is gone
Install the TikTok Pixel Helper browser extension.
Visit your live site in an incognito window.
Confirm no TikTok pixel events fire on the page.
