Remove the TikTok Pixel from WooCommerce

Remove the TikTok Pixel from your WooCommerce store by checking your plugins and any custom code added to your checkout or theme. PixelFlow loads your TikTok Pixel and Events API together, so a second copy of the pixel on your site causes duplicate events.

Remove the pixel from a plugin

WooCommerce has no built-in TikTok panel, so the pixel usually arrives through a TikTok, Pixel, or ads plugin that injects the ttq code.

1. In your WordPress admin, open Plugins → Installed Plugins and find the TikTok, Pixel, or ads plugin you installed.

2. Open its settings and disable the Pixel feature, or disconnect the TikTok Pixel if it has that option.

3. If you no longer need the plugin, uninstall it from Plugins → Installed Plugins.

Remove custom code from checkout or theme

Custom header or footer scripts and checkout-page snippets are the other common hiding place. Search for the TikTok identifiers ttq, TiktokAnalyticsObject, ttq.load, ttq.page, ttq.track, ttq.identify, and analytics.tiktok.com.

1. Check your WordPress theme settings for any custom header or footer scripts.

2. Check Appearance → Theme File Editor or your theme's custom code panel for TikTok Pixel code.

3. Look for TikTok Pixel code in any WooCommerce checkout-page custom scripts.

4. Delete the code and save.

Check other plugins

If you used a different tracking plugin, open its settings and remove the Pixel Code or disable the TikTok Pixel feature. Check landing pages or page-level embeds too, since some builders add a pixel on one page only.

Turn off automatic event tracking in TikTok

TikTok Ads Manager has an automatic events setting called Auto event setup. Go to Tools → Events → Manage Web Events, select the pixel, open Settings, and turn Auto event setup off. TikTok offers this setting in beta to a limited number of advertisers and is phasing it out, so you may not see it.

Verify the pixel is gone

1. Install the TikTok Pixel Helper browser extension.

2. Visit your live store and a product page in an incognito window.

3. Confirm no TikTok pixel events fire on the page.
