Remove the TikTok Pixel from Webflow

Remove the TikTok Pixel from Webflow by deleting the TikTok Pixel code from your project's custom code. PixelFlow then stays the only thing firing TikTok tracking on your site.

Search for the TikTok identifiers ttq, TiktokAnalyticsObject, ttq.load, ttq.page, ttq.track, and the script domain analytics.tiktok.com (the official code loads https://analytics.tiktok.com/i18n/pixel/events.js).

You do not need to delete the Pixel inside TikTok Events Manager. PixelFlow still uses that Pixel. You are only removing the second copy from your website, and you should leave the PixelFlow script or integration installed.

Delete the pixel script

  1. Open your Webflow dashboard.

  2. Go to Project Settings → Custom Code.

  3. In the Head Code field, find and delete the TikTok Pixel code (anything with ttq or analytics.tiktok.com).

  4. Also check the Footer Code field and delete any TikTok Pixel code there.

  5. Click Save Changes.

Check page-specific code

Landing pages sometimes have a Pixel added to that page only, so check individual pages too.

  1. Open the page in the Designer.

  2. Open Page Settings → Custom Code.

  3. Delete the TikTok Pixel code from the Head or Body fields.

  4. Save the page.

Check in Apps & Integrations

  1. Open your Webflow dashboard.

  2. Go to Project Settings → Apps & Integrations.

  3. If a TikTok or ads integration holds a Pixel Code, remove that Pixel Code or disconnect the TikTok Pixel. Leave PixelFlow installed.

  4. Press Save.

If you installed the pixel through Google Tag Manager

Pause or delete the TikTok Pixel tags in your GTM container instead of editing Webflow code. Keep the PixelFlow snippet, or the PixelFlow GTM setup you already use.

Publish your site

After removing the code, click Publish so the changes go live.

Turn off automatic event tracking in TikTok

TikTok can add events on its own through a setting called Auto event setup, found at TikTok Ads Manager → Tools → Events → Manage Web Events → select your pixel → Settings. It is in beta, available only to a limited number of advertisers, and TikTok is phasing it out. If you see it on your pixel, turn it off so only PixelFlow's events fire.

Verify the pixel is gone

  1. Install the TikTok Pixel Helper browser extension.

  2. Visit your live site in an incognito window.

  3. Confirm no TikTok pixel events fire on the page.
