Remove the Facebook Pixel from Framer

Remove the Facebook or Meta Pixel from Framer by deleting the native integration or the custom code block you added.

Remove a native Meta Pixel integration

1. In Framer, open your site project.

2. Check Site Settings for any connected Meta Pixel integration.

3. Remove the Pixel ID or disconnect the integration.

4. Save the changes.

Remove custom code

1. In Framer, open the top menu and select Site Settings.

2. Open Custom Code.

3. Find the code block that contains the Meta Pixel (for example, a block named Meta Pixel or Facebook Pixel).

4. Delete the code block.

5. Save.

Publish your site

1. Click Publish in Framer.

2. Click Update to deploy the changes.

Turn off automatic event tracking in Meta

Go into your pixel in events manager, click settings, scroll to Track events automatically without code and ensure its turned off.

Verify the pixel is gone

1. Install the Facebook Pixel Helper browser extension.

2. Visit your live site in an incognito window.

3. Confirm no pixel events fire on the page.
